We are failing our children.
School shootings and mass murders have become so common in America that our kids are not only not surprised by the violence, but are expecting it to happen.

In an extremely gut-wrenching interview following the attack that reportedly left at least 10 dead in Santa Fe High School — where the shooter was armed with an AR-15 rifle, a pistol, a shotgun, and pipe bombs — a survivor tells the press:
“It’s been happening everywhere. I always felt that eventually it was going to happen here too.”
Just devastating.
