
Ahhhh! We’re excited!
A year and a half ago, Shedding for the Wedding host Sara Rue started the Jenny Craig diet. 50 pounds and four dress sizes later, she’s posing in a bikini for the first time in her entire life!
Said Sara:
“It’s a little strange. But after I tried it on, I thought, ‘I look good!'”
Sara has been on a 1,700-calorie-a-day diet and does cardio four days a week to lose weight.
“It’s hard. It’s a struggle. There are days where I’ll say, ‘I feel off the rails.’ But I don’t give myself excuses.”
While she’s following the Jenny Craig diet, Sara has a few tricks up her sleeve to give her an edge:
“I try not to eat animal protein after 7:30 p.m. And when I make pasta, I layer the bottom of the bowl with fresh spinach. That way you’re having the pasta, but with half the carbs.”
