Sarah Hyland continues to open up about her struggles with chronic pain.
As you may know, the Modern Family star has battled health issues for the past several years, and on Wednesday afternoon, she connected with her followers who may be experiencing something similar.

The 27-year-old tweeted her frustration with not being heard by doctors, saying:
For those who are chronically ill and in chronic pain: Have you had the experience of doctors not listening to you? If so, how do you not tear their heads off with your bare hands? 🙂

She went on to empathize with a fan, responding:

The actress later penned a message to the press trying to make something out her story that’s not there:
Can I share experiences and feel connected to my followers who are members of the chronically ill community, which I have been a part of for 27 years, for ONE SECOND before “news” outlets decide to make a WHOLE STORY out of it?
