And she did it just with the power of her music. But then again, that is how Adele rolls.
Most of ya’ll know Sarah Hyland as the chick from Modern Family who announced the American Music Awards nominations this week. However, you could’ve known her as the chick from Modern Family who was in that awful car accident if fate – and Adele – hadn’t intervened.
While at the announcement ceremony, Sarah shared this scary, but kind of wonderful story about the time she and her boyfriend were driving around LA when the car lost control:
“It was so foggy you couldn’t see ten feet ahead of you. He had an audition and we were going through lines. He would have been focusing on remembering his lines [but] ‘Someone Like You’ came on the radio, so we blasted it to sing along to it. And then we hit a water pocket…The wheels turned to the right and locked and then it spun.”
Thankfully, the spun right into saftey, with no harm done to them or the car. Sarah adds:
“We were just really shaken up. It’s like, ‘Thank you for saving my life!’ ”
We’re sure those were Adele’s exact intentions when she wrote it! LOLz! We’re just happy everyone is safe, happy and loves Adele’s music!!!
