Sarah Jessica Parker is setting the record straight!
In a recent interview, the actress revealed whether or not the third movie in the Sex & The City franchise will soon become a reality. Sarah admitted that she’s very passionate about the project and that she’s close with writer/director Michael Patrick King.

Unfortunately for SATC fans, however, Sarah says we aren’t anywhere close to another movie. Parker admitted:
“It remains a not-often-had conversation. I know ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and Michael Patrick knows well ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ the story we might tell, if we ever tell it. But the real truth, and I’m not being cagey, is we’ve not discussed a when.”
Well, at least there’s a story concept! S.J.P. elaborated:
“It’s such a hard question to answer because everybody reads and projects so much into what I say. There is a story. When and if we tell it remains unknown.”
Sigh. If there’s a plot, what’s the hold-up?! Are the other cast members not as enthusiastic as Sarah?
Hmm, whatever the delay is we hope it’s resolved soon!
