What an appropriate name for such a strong kid!
Sarah Michelle Gellar spent the night on Thursday at the hospital with her five-year-old son, Rocky, after he was having trouble breathing while battling a “nasty virus.” So scary!
This marks the 39-year-old’s first trip to the ER as a mom — and we’d agree that’s a pretty good run, all things considered!
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the actress revealed Rocky has been released and is now resting at home… but opened up about how “helpless” she felt seeing her youngest child suffering.

She shared:
Well I made it 7 years before I had to take one of my children to the ER (I think that’s a pretty good stretch) It was a long night and apparently a nasty virus, but thankfully Rocky was released. I’m not going to lie, watching your child not be able to breathe, is the most helpless I have ever felt. Thank you to all the great doctors and nurses (and staff) who work tirelessly 24 hours a day to help. And thank you to his big sister, Charlotte who would not leave his side. So cute to hear how supportive big sis Charlotte, 7, was to her brother!
And fortunately Freddie Prinze Jr.‘s son had something else to keep him preoccupied during his time in the hospital:
