Well, it seems that Susan Lucci certainly did and, apparently, still does!
Kathy Griffin hosted the 2014 Daytime Emmy Awards and while the comedienne was certainly HIGHlarious, per usual, at the event she brought up some insane drama from the early ’90s that’s only been a rumor…
Until now!
During the show, the hostess told a little anecdote about how she ran into SMG and she told her all about the feud…
And totaly confirmed that Susan had Sarah FIRED from All My Children!!! DRAMZ!
She said:
‘[Sarah] said, ‘What?! Don’t you know I was on All My Children?! I played Erica Kane’s daughter!’ So get this shit. I go, ‘Really? What was it like?’ “[She] goes, ‘I’ll tell you exactly what it was like: I won for best young starlet of tomorrow and it was the one year that Susan Lucci wasn’t nominated….’ There should be a hush across the room right now because I know you guys can tell that I’m going to say some shit I shouldn’t say… Anyways, [Sarah] told me that Susan Lucci couldn’t stand her, and after she won the Emmy, Susan Lucci had her fired before the show ended!’
WHOOOOOOOOOOOA! Dropping a bomb on the soap opera world!
We can’t BELIEVE Susan would have SMG fired because she’d won an Emmy!
Talk about a green eyed monster!
We’re just happy to see that even though Susan had Buffy the Vampire Slayer fired, she has found a LOT of success in her career after soaps!
