Talk about a Game Change!
Sarah Palin must be busy preparing a victory speech to deliver on Fox News because the former vice presidential candidate’s Monday appearance on the Today show garnered higher ratings than Katie Couric‘s guest hosting gig on Good Morning America.
Palin attracted 5.5 total million viewers to NBC, while her arch nemesis only drew 5.1 million to ABC. This must be a particularly sweet victory for Mama Grizzly because if you recall, it was Couric’s 2008 interview that initially placed Palin’s political and general knowledge under intense media scrutiny.
But let’s be honest. If she couldn’t name a single newspaper that was in circulation and based her entire foreign policy on Alaska’s proximity to Russia, then ANY interviewer would have made her look bad, right?
In any case, the competition was a close one and sources suggest that Sarah Palin may not be solely responsible for the winning ratings. Not only does Today consistently out perform GMA, but Ryan Seacrest tweeted he would be making a major announcement on the NBC morning show the day Palin was scheduled.
Love it or hate it, Palin’s appearance on Today and the attention it got from the media proves that this county is still captivated by her!
If these two ladies appeared on competing morning shows again, who would U choose to watch?
