Ouch! Sarah Silverman clearly went through A LOT!
On Monday, Sarah took to Instagram to show off her crazy bruises following her ICU stint for epiglottitis. The terrifying medical condition can cause respiratory failure due to an inflamed piece of cartilage blocking the windpipe.

Now that Silverman is out of the woods, she’s able to have a sense of humor about the frightening ordeal. The comedienne event went as far as to show off her intense battle scars to “milk” her “last vestige of sympathy.”
Well, you got to give the girl props for finding a silver lining in a very dark situation! LOLz!

Damn! We’re glad the beauty is able to manage an upbeat attitude about everything despite the traumatic incident!
Considering the funny gal’s bestie and fellow comedienne Tig Notaro also survived a life-threatening and freak illness called C.diff, we bet she has a lot of support to uplift her spirits. The 45-year-old never left Tig’s side throughout the terrible experience, after all!
