Sarah Silverman Sounds Off On Django Unchained N-Word Controversy!

And guess what?! Girl doesn’t get what all the fuss is about.
Iconic filmmaker Spike Lee recently criticized Quentin Tarantino‘s film Django Unchained for it’s excessive use of the n-word, and claimed that the entire production was “disrespetful to his ancestors.”
Well, comedian Sarah Silverman — who is actually a huge Spike Lee fan — recently voiced her own opinion of the film, sharing:

“Doesn’t it take place like during slavery? Wouldn’t it be odd if they didn’t have that horrific word in it? [Spike’s] got a lot of mishegas with a lot of art. I think you can’t really tell art what to do.”

LOLz! Fair enough!
And like every Quentin movie, Django Unchained is not going to please everybody…
So if you don’t want to hear the n-word 110 times, then you probably shouldn’t go see it!
