Oh boy! This could get really good!
Sarah Silverman took some shots at the Fox News Channel in her new book The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee. If you ask us, her opinions are valid and HIGHlarious, but we can understand why Fox News would be insulted.
The truth hurts.
In her book, Sarah wrote:
“The entire Fox News Channel is a 24-hour-a-day racism engine, but it’s all coded, all implied. Lou Dobbs used to scream on CNN about ‘immigration,’ not ‘filthy Mexicans.'”
Notice the obvious jab built in with humor and malice? GENIUS!
Well, Fox News scrabbled to find someone with a comedy background to fire back at Sarah for her comments and yesterday, they released this statement:
“Sarah’s anger is understandable having recently lost her television show. We sympathize with her need for attention considering her book is languishing near 300 on Amazon.com.”
Ooooh! Look at you! You used a big word to act like you were smarter than Sarah! Good for you!
But we have feeling that that number on Amazon.com is going to go up fairly soon. A lot more people hate Fox News than they do Sarah Silverman.
Anyway to stick it to them!
