What amazing news to wake up to in the morning!
Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie is about to start her maternity leave because the journalist lady just welcomed a baby into her life…
…And it’s a girl!
The new mommy revealed the news on Twitter with an exciting tweet that read:

But the news lady must’ve known the world was going to want all of the details, and a lot of those details have been revealed!
Including the baby girl’s name which is… Vale Guthrie Feldman! That full name was revealed by Savannah’s husband and Vale’s daddy, Mike Feldman!
The little girl was born early Wednesday morning in a New York City hospital, weighing 8.5lbs and measuring about 19.5 inches.
Here’s what Savannah tweeted about her little girl:
