But the behind-the-scenes antics of the Saved By The Bell stars? That’s the stuff of legends! Or possibly myths…
Supposedly inspired by (but NOT officially based on) Dustin Diamond‘s sketchy tell-all Behind The Bell, which catalogued a LOT of sex and drugs backstage, The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story will likely be a bit less incendiary.
But we’ll watch it anyway! LOLz!
The movie is filming right now toward a September 1st air date, but we can’t help but wonder what could have been if Dylan Everett hadn’t been cast as Mark-Paul, Sam Kindseth as Dustin, Julian Works as Mario, Alyssa Lynch as Tiffani-Amber, Tiera Skovbye as Elizabeth, or Taylor Russell McKenzie as Lark.
