Universal Is Making Another Scarface But It's Not A Remake, They Swear!

Yep, it’s true! You can say hello to your little friend all over again!

Universal Pictures is working on a “new version” of the Scarface classic.

Originally, the title was released in 1932 as a Howard Hughes joint.

But then of course the Al Pacino version came to fruition in 1983 with the character Tony Montana as a hottie face.

This NEW version will be produced by Marc Shmuger and Martin Bregman (who also produced Al’s film).

And though it’s a new version, Universal wants to make it clear that it is neither a remake nor a sequel.

Rather, it’s simply the gathering of common elements from the first two films. As for where the new Tony comes from, well that’s a big ole secret!

Hmm…we wonder what else will come from this.

Is anyone yelling blasphemy yet??
