We’re actually pretty surprised! We wouldn’t have expected them to be so rude!
Last night, the big winners at the Tonys were Scarlett Johansson and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Both ladies gave exquisite performances in their respective theater debuts and were rightfully rewarded.
However, neither showed much grace or gratitude for their award, as both quickly exited the ceremony as soon as they won. Both stars opted not to talk to ANY members of the press and barely even stopped for the photographers to document their wins.
This isn’t the first time the ladies have snubbed Broadway journalists. When the nominees were announced a few weeks ago, they were both invited to attend the ceremony. Scarlett didn’t even bother to show while Catherine would only speak to CNN and other major West Coast news outlets.
That’s not very becoming behavior from either of you ladies! The theater world isn’t Hollywood! They expect more from you!
