We love babies AND baby bumps!
But this particular bump didn’t have perfect timing, ha!
Everyone was super excited when Scarlett Johansson announced her pregnancy to the world – well, everyone except maybe the producers and director behind The Avengers!
After all Scarlett definitely figures to be a BIG part of the second movie – Avengers: Age of Ultron – and the new problem was how to deal with the baby bump! You know, because her scheduled scenes coincided with the throes of her pregnancy.
But thanks to science – there doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore!!!
The actress apparently will wear a “a high-tech suit with a green band around her waist” that will allow film editors to digitally remove all signs of her bump from the film…despite how adorable the pregnancy belly will surely be!
The director of the film, Joss Whedon, still expects Scarlett to film her fair share of the fight scenes though, so that baby inside her will definitely feel a workout coming his or her way!
The most important thing is that this pregnancy didn’t interfere with the script of the mega-movie at all, which we’re sure will put fans’ hearts at ease. One studio executive prominently involved in the film said:
“Well my first reaction was I was very happy for her and very excited for her. My second reaction was we’ve got to move some pieces on the chess board around schedule-wise. But we didn’t change the script at all, which is sort of the most important things for us in terms of the storyline.”
We definitely agree!
Scarlett Johansson and her baby’s daddy Roman Dauriac are expecting their little one to arrive sometime in August, so between that date and her future intense filming schedule – this will be a year for the memory books for Scarlett!
And for us, as well!!
