Like the fake “Tru Blood” bottles that are sold to vamps in True Blood, scientists are actually creating lab-grown blood. And guess what, it works!
Scientists have found a way to make blood from bone marrow stem cells and have actually injected it into someone. The good news? They survived!
AND, what’s more is that the process seems to be completely safe so far as the blood cells are behaving like normal cells.
Incredible! We doubt this will actually replace much-needed blood donors, but this is still pretty amazing in the world of science.
