What is going on with Scott Wolf‘s ex-wife Kelley??

Three days after the 48-year-old author shockingly announced her divorce from the Party of Five alum, she took to Instagram to post a video maybe even more shocking — of the police detaining her! Yeah, really! And the reason is troubling!

As cops on the scene put her in handcuffs in the clip, they informed Kelley she was “not going to jail.” Instead, the officers simply wanted to get her “some help” after she made “concerning comments” to her loved ones. Whoa. Watch the video (below):

In a follow-up post, Kelley posted a picture of her belongings and claimed she was “taken against my will.” Where she ended up was unclear at the time. But now we have more information about the situation.

Local law enforcement has now confirmed to People Kelley was admitted to a local hospital in Utah. Apparently, the public speaker has been staying at the Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah, since Wednesday. The statement read:

“Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help. Upon speaking with the female, our Deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our Deputies. For that reason, our Deputies transported the female to a local hospital.”

If police transported her to a hospital to get help, why did they handcuff her? Did they really think she was that much of a danger?? A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff’s Department explained it’s just standard procedure:

“Typically, when we transport somebody in any of our patrol vehicles, they are placed in properly-fitted hand restraints, just for their protection and our protection as law enforcement as well. So that’s what happened today: she was placed in hand restraints, placed into a vehicle, and transported by our deputies to a hospital.”
