Oh no! This is so awful!
Sam Lloyd, who played hapless lawyer Ted on eight seasons of Scrubs, needs help.
According to a GoFundMe campaign set up to help his family pay the medical bills, Sam and his wife had just welcomed their first child when he began to experience headaches, followed by weight loss.
What the doctors found was a large brain tumor, which turned out to be cancer which had metastasized from his lungs. It was also in his liver, spine, and jaw.

Now Sam’s family needs your help to cover the costs of healthcare and childcare while neither parent can work. And Ted’s TV family is getting involved, too:
This is Sam. He was Ted on SCRUBS. He’s a pal. Just had his first baby. Get involved if you can. I am. https://t.co/PwZQCuSC7G

I’ve always said Scrubs fans are a little bit better than everyone else, let’s show it now for Sam.https://t.co/Jrn1wx05BU

Donald Faison (Turk) and John C. McGinley (Cox) also RTed.
Our healthcare system is so broken even beloved character actors from hit sitcoms are forced to ask strangers for help to pay for the costs. Ugh.
