Good new for the those Scrubs fans that remain out there.
As you might have heard by now, the show is being picked up by ABC for another season. It’s likely to start airing in January 2009.
And, rumors are that the sitcom might continue on for a few more seasons with new cast members along the way.
Looks like they’re trying to make it survive like ER did.
There’s a (strong?) possibility that Scrubs lead Zach Braff won’t be returning.
ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson said, “Certainly when we picked it up we had to make the decision based on this one season because, you know, there is a likelihood that that would be it.”
He adds, “We do think there’s an opportunity after that — talking to Zach, talking to Bill — and whether and/or all of the cast is a part of that, I still think there’s a great amount of growth there. We do think that it will not hopefully be a one-season situation. But we’ll just take that step by step.”
Forget about future seasons.
Will U be watching this coming one?
