Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings star Sean Bean is not paying any penalty for annoying his ex-wife with phone calls and texts that were allegedly abusive.
The 53-year-old was arrested back in May after ex-wife numero cuatro, Georgina Sutcliffe, complained about the “harassment,” but fortunately for the Stark clan’s reputation, the actor has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
A spokesman for London’s Metropolitan Police has said:
“53-year-old man attended a Central London police station by appointment on May 9, 2012, where he was arrested on suspicion of harassment and bailed pending further enquiries. He has since been released with no further action.”
He’s lucky that the London authorities are more forgiving than Joffrey Baratheon, that’s for sure! We hope Mr. Bean learned his lesson and will be leaving his ex alone from now on.
