Sean Hannity may have gotten Jimmy Kimmel to apologize for the “homophobic” joke he said during their Twitter spat, but a little birdie is here to remind social media which host has an actual history of homophobic slander.
That little birdie is Billy Baldwin, who tweeted out an old article over the weekend that described how Hannity was fired from his job as a shock jock at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1989.

Why did the future Hannity host get the boot? Because he regularly spewed out homophobic garbage like “all gays are AIDS carriers” and “eat fecal matter.”
See for yourself (below):
Santa Barbara has fond memories of @seanhannity‘s time here in the 80s.
He got the boot here as a shock jock cuz he and/ or his guests spewed such morsels of enlightenment as├óΓé¼┬ª “All gays are AIDS carriers”, “Gays eat fecal matter” & “Homosexuals are disgusting people”#ClassAct pic.twitter.com/OVMuqoEUus

Just vile.
The controversy has been reported by multiple outlets since Hannity’s show became Fox News‘ top-rated program. For what it’s worth, the political pundit called his comments “ignorant and embarrassing” in an interview with the New York Times last November, admitting his removal from the station had been “deserved.”
But judging by his Kimmel beef, Hannity wouldn’t want us to ignore past actions. We mean, he did call Kimmel “Weinstein Jr” just for hosting The Man Show — so using that logic, we will now call Hannity Kim Davis Jr..
