Hmmm, this is slightly confusing.
Usually when someone settles a case out of court it means they didn’t want to go to court because they think things could end up pretty badly for them.
And so you can only imagine how our eyes popped when we heard Sean Kingston had settled his gang rape lawsuit outside of court! That sounds like basically an admission of guilt to most people hearing it!
But it seems Sean didn’t settle the case because he was worried about losing, he just didn’t have the time to fight it!
Sean reportedly has a tour and a new album he wants to focus on, which is why he allegedly paid the woman a small fraction of what she wanted in order to make the lawsuit go away.
He supposedly feels confident he would have won because he did get away from the criminal charges in the case that were filed three years ago after the alleged incident.
While we may not ever know what really happened, we guess we can call this case closed!
