We guess he changed his mind!
Sean Penn is returning to the The Three Stooges movie directed by the Farrelly brothers after previously dropping out of the project.
Sean will take on the role of Larry along with Benicio Del Toro as Moe. They’re still looking to fill the role of Curly. Penn originally left the movie after reconciling with then-wife Robin Wright to devote more time to his marriage.
Clearly that didn’t work out since they ended it for good in August 2009, so he’s back to the grind!
Bobby Farrelly has confirmed that Penn is in saying, “We got him back. He always said he wanted to do it after, you know, taking care of his family.”
We wonder who they’ll get to play Curly and if the movie will be a hit or miss for the Farrelly brothers?
Are U looking forward to the Stooges movie?
