At Sealand in British Columbia in the mid-90s, a trainer drowned while in the tank with Tillikum, the whale who killed a trainer Dawn Brancheau at SeaWorld on Wednesday.
He was sold in 1999 to SeaWorld Orlando and another incident occurred. The scratched and bruised naked body of Daniel Dukes was found draped over the whale. He has apparently gotten past security and tried to interact with the animal.
“He’s not an aggressive animal. He’s good with the trainers. He has a good relationship with a lot of the trainers. He understands people,” said park officials after the incident.
What kind of effing idiot would do that?! It is a whale and it’s pissed that it’s stuck doing tricks for people in a small tank and not frolicking in the ocean.
