This just makes our hearts feel all warm and toasty inside!
Sebastien De La Cruz is an 11-year-old phenom who proved he has maturity well past his years!
After appearing on season 7 of America’s Got Talent, the singer was asked to sing the National Anthem at Game 3 of the NBA Finals in San Antonio.
De La Cruz is a proud mariachi singer and wore his usual uniform for his performance. This made people on Twitter go crazy, hurling racial remarks at the child and using the hashtag #GoHome.
But he handled it like a pro, and bravely RETURNED to sing the Anthem for Game 4!
Following the incident, De La Cruz tweeted:
Please do not pay attention to the negative people. I am an American living the American Dream. This is part of the American life.

You tell ‘em!
He also told Houston’s KTRK:
“I think the people were talking bad because of what I was wearing and it’s not my fault. It’s what I love and I’m just proud to be a mariachi singer.”
President Barack Obama threw his support behind the youngster, tweeting:
Don't miss @selcharrodeoro's encore performance of the national anthem at the #NBAFinals in San Antonio tonight.

Even the tight-lipped San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popavich had something to say:
“He’s a class act. Way more mature than most his age. And as much as those comments by the idiots saddens you about your country, he makes you feel that the future could be very bright.”
Now that you know the triumphant story about this boy, watch him flawlessly belt out the Anthem (above)! It will give you chills!!!
