Selena Gomez can’t even drink alcohol legally, and yet at the age of 20 she’s always been in a ton of successful movies, is dating Justin Bieber, and seems to have the whole world ahead of her!
But she definitely hasn’t forgotten where she came from originally. In fact, she thinks about it a lot!
Here’s what she said:
“I definitely didn├óΓé¼Γäót appreciate it when I was little. I was frustrated that my parents weren├óΓé¼Γäót together and never saw the light at the end of the tunnel where my mom was working hard to provide a better life for me.”
But just because she’s appreciative of her mom doesn’t mean she isn’t happy to not be away from that little town in Texas.
Here’s what she said:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm terrified of what I would have become if I├óΓé¼Γäód stayed there. I├óΓé¼Γäóm sure I├óΓé¼Γäód have two children by now. It├óΓé¼Γäós because of [my mom] that I can do things on my own. I like being professional. I like showing up on time. I like being good to people, and I know that I├óΓé¼Γäóm reflecting her at the end of the day.”
What a beautiful thing to say!
