This precious pop star may be raking in the big bucks, but she isn’t spending it all on expensive clothing!
Selena Gomez is as practical and down-to-earth as they come, and proves it whilst talking about her shopping habits and Kmart Dream Out Loud collection.
Despite always being dressed to the nines in designer duds on the red carpet, the Come And Get It singer has no idea how much her clothes actually costs, because when you’re a celeb like her, you don’t have to buy it! They’ll put it on you for free! Selenita said:
“I don├óΓé¼Γäót even want to know how much they usually cost, but it├óΓé¼Γäós been really fun for me to dress up and get to meet different designers. I don├óΓé¼Γäót think I could ever actually purchase a huge gown unless it├óΓé¼Γäós my wedding dress!”
Unlike her wallet-busting red carpet looks, fans can take comfort knowing they can get Selena’s style for a fraction of the cost thanks to her fashionable yet affordable clothing line. The 21-year-old explained:
“I always make sure that it├óΓé¼Γäós accessible for everyone to enjoy. I├óΓé¼Γäóve been working with the collection since I was about 17, so I feel like the older I get, the more my fashion evolves as well.”
But even Selena gives in to the occasional splurge, and says her very first expensive purchase was a little somethin’ somethin’ from Dolce & Gabbana. She reveals:
“I remember being really young and obsessed with Dolce, and I did buy a pair of black heels in Paris one time. They were cute, strappy, little heels. Sometimes you just have to!”
Well, if Dolce & Gabbana is really on its way out, she may have unknowingly picked the right brand to buy!
When it comes to her personal style, the Slow Down songstress described it as eclectic, saying:
“[My closet] is just kind of a mix. I have really great [designer] gifts from people, and my stylist will give me something cute. But other than that, it usually seems to be off the sales rack or just stuff that I enjoy.”
And who DOESN’T love the sales rack???
We don’t think it’s even possible to cherish this gorgeous starlet any more!!
Keep setting those great examples, birthday girl!!
