Selena Gomez Gets By With A Little Help From Her Friends...Taylor Swift And Vanessa Hudgens!

Looks like we have a BESTIEZ TRIFECTA on our hands, folks!
Selena Gomez has been very vocal about how much her friendship with Taylor Swift means to her, as she recently choreographed a dance routine to the country cutie’s song Trouble…and then covered it during the UNICEF charity concert last night!
But during the very same event, the actress and singer went out of her way to also commend her Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens for being such an important part of her life, as well as helping her get over her Justin Bieber heartbreak!
As she explained:

“It├óΓé¼Γäós helped having Taylor and Vanessa both be older than me. They├óΓé¼Γäóve kind of experienced a little bit more, and at the same time we├óΓé¼Γäóre experiencing the exact same things together. It’s nice just to be able to pick up the phone and be like, ‘Ugh, I had this person say this and it’s annoying,’ and have someone understand and really get what you’re going through. I think that’s [our] main connection. I just enjoy having people in the business in my life because it helps. I feel like I want to be her [Vanessa]. She├óΓé¼Γäós been such an incredible person, and she├óΓé¼Γäós fantastic in [Spring Breakers]. She├óΓé¼Γäós a really good friend. I met [Swift] when she was 18. This is before [Swift’s 2008 album] Fearless came out, and it was absolutely incredible to see someone so successful and so humble. I think she has been a big part of me kind of staying the way I am too.”

Awww! Doesn’t that just warm your heart?!
Hollywood can be such a strange, difficult place to navigate even as an adult, so we really give these young ladies credit for managing to not only stay grounded in all of the craziness, but help one another do the same!
And we’re also just thrilled that all of those nasty rumors about Vanessa and Selenita feuding on the set of Spring Breakers was just that!
Thanks for setting such a wonderful example of women empowering women for all of us, ladies!
