Last week, it was revealed that Selena Gomez‘s mom sadly had a miscarriage. The singer canceled gigs and appearances due to what her rep told her fans was a “family emergency.”
After what was most likely a somber Christmas for the Gomez family, Selena reached out to her fans on Facebook and Twitter and thanked them for their support, while also revealing the name of her unborn sister. She wrote the following message (also above):
Belated Merry Christmas everybody.. I can’t thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate every one of you.. I love you all so much and we hope you and your family had a beautiful Christmas!
