After fans went wild for the idea of a Selena Quintanilla and MAC collaboration, even inciting a Change.org petition, the makeup label was happy to announce the good news on Thursday!
As in, it’s going to be a reality, people! Though it’s twenty years after her tragic death, the iconic songstress will finally be getting her own collection!

Revealing some artwork for the upcoming collab, MAC shared:
Yay! It’s time to blast her hit, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, and do a celebratory dance!
MAC’s creative director, James Gager, even confessed:
“Selena’s talent and beauty, inside and out, have left a colorful, meaningful impact in the world that has continued to grow over the last two decades. We have heard the passion and enthusiasm from her fans and wholeheartedly agree that her legacy embodies M.A.C’s philosophy. We are so excited to announce a Selena-inspired M.A.C collection debuting in the latter part of 2016.”
And Selena’s own sister, Suzette Quintanilla, shared:
“I am so excited that M.A.C Cosmetics will be releasing a collection in honor of my sister Selena. Helping to create this collection brings me back to all those late-night conversations on our tour bus when she spoke of having her own makeup line one day. If Selena were here she would be beyond ecstatic to have this happening. History is being made.”

Well, we can’t wait to see what kinds of products and colors MAC has in mind for the collection, but we’re guessing lots of reds, purples, and hopefully some shimmer!
