Senate Judiciary Committee Passes Copyright Infringement Act

Creating and selling knockoffs just might get more difficult.

On Wednesday morning the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the Innovative Design Protection and Piracy Prevention Act.

Under the IDPPA, both established and informal designers will receive copyright protection for their “unique and original designs”.

Interesting.

We have a feeling there’s going to be A LOT of lawsuits in the future.
