Serena Williams was supposed to face off against Maria Sharapova on Monday. But instead she has to pull out of the entire French Open due to a pectoral injury.
This of course is after suffering two other big losses on the court earlier this year — and this was her first major tournament since giving birth. Maybe her body just wasn’t ready?
