How Sweet! Is this a trap?
As the voice and mind behind shows like Family Guy and American Dad!, Seth MacFarlane knows how to make people cringe. But now he’s doing something a little out of character.
MacFarlane has joined forces with the Heaven on Earth Society for Animals in Van Nuys, Calif., to create Perry’s Place, a safe haven for homeless cats.
Named for MacFarlane’s late mother Ann Perry MacFarlane, a passionate animal rescuer who died from cancer last year at age 63, the sanctuary will be a cage-free adoption center.
MacFarlane directed his Twitter followers to the project’s fund-raising page, which hopes to raise $500,000 by December.
