World War I started after Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated…
World War II started in the US after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor…
And it sound like World War III might erupt because James Franco and Seth Rogen made another movie together!
No, like, srsly.
North Korea is apparently PISSSSSED about the upcoming flick The Interview, where Seth and James play journalists sent to the Asian nation in a secret CIA plan to kill Kim Jong Un!
The North Korean dictator ain├óΓé¼Γäót laughin’ at this comedy though! He and his comrades are viewing this movie as an act of terrorism and are promising to retaliate if it gets released!
A foreign ministry spokesperson made an official denouncement yesterday, stating:
“Making and releasing a movie on a plot to hurt our top-level leadership is the most blatant act of terrorism and war and will absolutely not be tolerated. If the U.S. administration allows and defends the showing of the film, a merciless counter-measure will be taken.
Really, North Korea?!? Really??
First of all, relax. It’s a movie. They’re not gonna kill your precious prime leader.
Second, if we were going to try and kill Kimmy, we wouldn’t send Seth Rogen and James Franco to do it!
Third, have you not seen the rest of American cinema and television?
Did Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock or Team America not make it across the Pacific to you?

Whatever. We’re not too scared about these threats. And neither is Seth Rogen!
He responded perfectly today on Twitter, saying:
People don't usually wanna kill me for one of my movies until after they've paid 12 bucks for it. Hiyooooo!!!

And if all else fails, we at least know that we can broker a peace deal with the help of Dennis Rodman.

Oh god. Cross your fingers the fate of the world never lies in the hands of THAT guy!
