James Franco and Seth Rogen are no strangers to controversy. But their latest film may have gone a bit too far… all the way to Pyongyang!
The Interview, the upcoming movie that sees the funny friends traveling to North Korea to assassinate Kim Jong Un, has finally gotten a rise out of the diminutive dictator.
North Korea’s official word on the film? Boo.
Specifically, they are condemning the movie as an example of America’s “desperation,” though they also said that Mr. Kim was planning on seeing the film for himself.
Seth seemed surprised by this turn of events, but remained optimistic. He tweeted:
Apparently Kim Jong Un plans on watching #TheInterview. I hope he likes it!! http://t.co/5VrsgYlydE

We’re glad Seth is keeping his spirits up about this. Being put on blast by people with actual missiles can be pretty scary!
Hey, who knows? Maybe he’ll like being portrayed in a movie!
