Dozens Of Teens Are Now Tweeting Bomb Threats To Airlines After A 14-Year-Old Was Arrested For A Twitter Terrorism Prank!

This is the worst Twitter trend we’ve ever seen!
After a Dutch teenager was arrested this week for sending a phony bomb threat to American Airlines, several other young tweeters are now doing the exact same thing!
Authorities tracked down the unidentified 14-year-old girl known only as ‘Sarah’ who sent the airline company a tweet that read:

“hello my name├óΓé¼Γäós Ibrahim and I├óΓé¼Γäóm from Afghanistan. I├óΓé¼Γäóm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I├óΓé¼Γäóm gonna do something really big bye.├óΓé¼┬¥

Her prank landed her in jail! We would think that would deter others from trying to pull the same stupid trick but quite the opposite is true!
Now there are DOZENS of people sending threatening messages to American Airlines, as well as other company Twitter accounts!

This needs to stop!!!
Not only is this not funny, it’s dangerous!
Company and law enforcement officials take threats like these very seriously and investigate all of them! But with so many bogus messages being sent, it makes it that much harder for them to spot a serious threat!
We can only hope that same punishment that the original prankster received gets handed out to ALL of these unfunny tweeters.
