Since Shailene Woodley is playing an ass-kicking, tomboyish teenager in the upcoming Divergent, it makes sense that she’d eschew the girly frocks for the Summit Entertainment party at Comic-Con in San Diego on Thursday.
It wouldn’t do to jump off trains in a flouncy skirt!
But minus those laser-cut leather heels, Shailene’s outfit of jeans and simple black top would be perfect for her character Tris.
So, even though we’d love to see her in a cute frock, we’ll have to accept that she wanted to stay in character this time around.
