Shakira's Boyfriend Fesses Up To Birth Prank!

And what a prank it was!
We were SO excited when we heard the news that Shakira had popped her precious bundle out just in time for the New Year last night.
But sigh! It was just a BIG JOKE!
Celebrating the Day of the Innocents (and confessing to the prank), boyfriend Gerard Piqué tweeted:

Ya tiene nombre! Se llama Inocencio! Feliz Día de los Inocentes a todos!

Translation: He has a name! He’s called Inocencio! (Innocent!). Happy Day of the Innocents to all!
Ha! Innocent indeed! LOL… JK… as we explained last night, the day celebrates the day Mary and Joseph tricked King Herod by smuggling Jesus out of Bethlehem before he could kill him.
Well… needless to say, we can’t wait for the REAL DEAL now.
