Talk about a blast from the distant past!
Shannen Doherty sat down with the resurgent Arsenio Hall on Thursday and their really (really, really) old-school conversation tickled every nostalgic bone in our body!
Like a Chicago-style pizza, the former Beverly Hills, 90120 starlet dished deep on a few former co-stars while reminiscing about the times she visited Arsenio’s old show over twenty years ago!!!
First she threw a quick jab at her on-screen brother Jason Priestley, whose recent memoir painted her as a bit of a diva. Shannen mocked his infamous pet pig!
She admitted:
“I mean, I only met it once. It didn’t like me, I guess, but I hear it’s writing a memoir! Can’t wait for that!”
Then she turned her attention to another oft-troubled co-star, Tori Spelling. Shannen spoke about homegurl’s new super revealing reality show Tru Tori.
Shannen confessed:
“[Tori] is baring her soul and I think that everybody has their process of what’s cathartic for them in how to deal with something, and this might be hers…. My heart does break for her. It breaks for anybody that’s in that situation. I mean, that’s pretty awful and I certainly hope everything works out for the best. And in meantime, it’s making for some amazing TV…. I just hope that Tori loves herself. She’s a beautiful girl and she needs to ignore the haters.”
Aww! If her sentiment were any sweeter we could squeeze a lemons on it and serve you up a delicious glass of lemonade!
So, to recap, Shannen & Arsenio Hall discussed 90210 all night?! Holy crap, we’re half-surprised they didn’t wax poetic about how the Balkanization of Yugoslavia is affecting LaserDisc sales, too, because they were definitely having the most ’90s conversation in the history of the universe!
We’re just glad most of our favorite former stars are still alive and doing relatively well for themselves! Hooray!
