Shaq has a warning for other celebrities out there and it’s to be careful who you get to help with your computer stuff, because they might steal your email and try to sell it. Allegedly this is what happened to Shaq, and he’s now suing his former IT guy, Shawn Darling, for it.
Though what this guy did is completely wrong, Shaq should have looked into him a little closer, because what he would have found is a convicted bank fraud felon. And that’s definitely not the guy you want helping you with personal computing.
Apparently Darling was hired to set up computers and sound systems and register domain names and gained Shaq’s passwords to do all those things… but then used them outside of work to make money by selling emails and damaging information to websites.
Shawn claims it was Shaq doing all the hacking (of ex-lovers and stuff) and used connections to then frame him.
We all know Shaq isn’t the best at picking the right people for tech-involved things, having just won a case last week about a stolen sex tape.
Do some research, dude!
