Was Britney Spears really as “clueless” as she said she was about Kevin Federline having a baby on the way with another woman when they started dating? Shar Jackson doesn’t think so! In fact, she claims the 41-year-old pop star lied and knew about his children all along!
In her memoir The Woman In Me, Britney said she “had no idea” the former background dancer was already a dad to a toddler and had a pregnant ex-girlfriend when they got together in 2004. She alleged:
“I had no idea when we met that he had a toddler, nor that his ex-girlfriend was eight months pregnant with his second baby. I was clueless. I was living in a bubble, and I didn’t have a lot of good, close friends to confide in and get advice from. I had no idea until after we’d been together for a while and someone told me, ‘You know he has a new baby, right?’”

However, Shar paints a different picture than what Britney wrote in her book! The Moesha actress claims not only did the singer steal K-Fed from her, but she knew about the pregnancy the entire time they were together. She even waited outside the hospital when their son Kaleb was born, Shar alleged!
Looking back, she told DailyMail.com that Kevin met Britney at a nightclub in El Lay called Joseph’s and then cheated on Shar in April 2004 — while she was at home six months pregnant and suffering morning sickness. UGH! Shar recalled:
“One day, when I had bad morning sickness and was about six months pregnant, Kevin had an audition for a Coke commercial or something in LA… then I didn’t hear from him for three days. I later found out they had met at a club on the first night, when he went out with his friends. I felt angry and betrayed and I went numb. I went onto autopilot.”
Even after finding out Kevin cheated on her, they allegedly didn’t break up! Instead, Shar said they moved on and “agreed to figure it out” together. But the ex-rapper’s infidelity didn’t stop! The 47-year-old alleged he told her he “booked a commercial and needed to go shoot it overseas.” Kevin had other plans in mind, though. He was actually going to meet Britney! Shar found out about his lies when pictures of the pair together embracing on a beach soon made headlines . She was left “in a state of disbelief” that he betrayed her again:
“I called him and said: ‘I need to know if you are going to be in the kids’ lives or not, because it’s not a part-time gig. If you don’t want that responsibility, tell me now so we can cut ties completely.’ I didn’t care about Britney at that point. It wasn’t about her. I felt betrayed and crushed. I thought: ‘how could you do something like that?’”
Talk about s**tty behavior, K-Fed! Kevin ended up marrying Britney in 2004, and they went on to have two children of their own. Their relationship ended in divorce — something that does not surprise Shar at all. Despite what happened between the trio, she remains close to Kevin and holds no ill will toward Britney. But Shar knew they were never going to last since their relationship was “rocky” from the start due to the cheating:
“I think her relationship with Kevin was a fantasy for both of them. To me, anything built on a rocky foundation isn’t going to last and they started rocky because he was in a relationship. I never hated Kevin because if you really love someone you can’t hate them.”
No one would blame her if she wasn’t on good terms with Kevin after he allegedly cheated on her while she was pregnant!
