This is a new one. Police in Milton, NH, were called after someone reported an unusual odor coming from the forest.
Turns out it was a decomposing shark!
Lloyd Ellis, whose brother discovered the shark, reveals:
“(I’ve seen) garbage here and there but nothing like this that’s for sure. He happened to smell something that didn’t smell right, like a dead animal or something, and he came across it Thursday night.├óΓé¼┬¥
The 6 to 8 foot blue shark was found in the Milton forests, on some private property, about 40 miles from the ocean.
Ellis goes into further detail explaining:
├óΓé¼┼ôI can only think that either someone didn’t have a license, because you have to have a license to fish the ocean, and was going to bring it home and someone said, ├óΓé¼╦£Hey dude, you need a license or something like that.├óΓé¼Γäó Panicking, they probably said, ├óΓé¼╦£Well, I guess we’ve got to get rid of the evidence.'”
After police and the New Hampshire Fish and Game investigated the scene, they decided to leave the shark remains where they were found it and let “nature take its course.”
