It’s been an exciting year for Shawn Booth.
The Nashville native accepted Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s final rose on The Bachelorette — and now the personal trainer is using his platform and following from the reality show to raise awareness about a very important cause.
The 28-year-old announced on his Instagram that he is teaming up with fellow contestant and two-time Bachelorette alum Nick Viall to raise a goal of $100,000 for men’s health.

Movember supports a cause that is close to the reality star’s heart:
“Prostate cancer is something that I’m very passionate about and runs in my family and has affected some of my family members … [Nick and I are] Both just trying to do as much as we can for the greater good, and really do something big here.”
Kaitlyn’s southern sweetie has also partnered with C4 Belts supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Go Shawn!!

So what about that upcoming wedding??
Shawn B. says him and his future wife — who each had $2,000 phone bills before they could go public with their relationship — are going stronger than ever and plan to set a date for the big day after the New Year:
“We’ve actually probably spent no more than 4 hours apart from each other since the finale. We’ve been with each other every single day since then … It’s real, it’s genuine, and every day we learn more about each other. She’s an amazing person and she’s 100% wife material.”
