Some good news from the Lamas family would be a blessing right about now.
Shayne Lamas, Lorenzo Lamas‘ daughter and The Bachelor veteran, is currently in a coma after a very tragic incident.
We’re so sad to report that she has lost her baby after a freak pregnancy complication. She was 16 weeks along, and this was going to be her and her husband Nik Richie‘s (who founded TheDirty.com) second baby.
Shayne collapsed in her home and rescue authorities were called and she was taken to the hospital. The culprit was internal bleeding around her uterus, and the situation was as dire as they come. The worst part is that nobody knew why it was happening, so they had to bring in specialists to figure it out.
She is NOT breathing on her own in the coma, but doctors are optimistic about her recovery.
We are so glad for that optimism.
Our hearts go out to her and her family. What an awful situation.
