We’ve heard Shia LaBeouf was into method acting. Taking drugs, having sex for real on camera.
But this just may cross some lines. The lines on his face. With a knife.
In a recent interview with British GQ, Logan Lerman talked about working with Shia on the upcoming WWII film Fury.

And according to Logan, any damage you see on Shia’s face during the film? It’s really there! He said:
“We were in make-up and they were putting cuts on Shia and I said, ‘Yeah, yeah, it looks good.’ And Shia was like, ‘No, it doesn’t look real.’
Then he walks out into the hallway and says, ‘Hey man, wanna see something fun? Check this out…’ and he takes out a knife and cuts his face. And for the whole movie he kept opening these cuts on his face. That’s all real.”
Whoa, WTF, Shia?
This is the most extreme thing the actor has done since… OK, we guess this isn’t nearly the most extreme thing he’s done.

In fact, according to Brad Pitt, Shia also refused to shower and had a dentist pull one of his teeth for the role. Eesh!
Is Shia keeping it real for the movies? Or has he stepped away from reality?
