So when we hear that Shia LaBeouf got wasted while shooting Lawless, we automatically think it’s his method, right??
At least HE thinks that way!
Here’s what he said about getting into the role of a Prohibition-era bootlegger by gettin’ his lean on:
├óΓé¼┼ôI did it for the movie. I didn├óΓé¼Γäót drink off set for no reason. I did it because, when I showed up on set the next day, my [bleep]ing eyes looked like this and my face… had that drunk bloat that I needed, that I couldn├óΓé¼Γäót have if that wasn├óΓé¼Γäót going on.├óΓé¼┬¥
We’re sure they have a whoooooooole team of make up artists that could pull that off, which would simultaneously keep Mia Wasikowska from threatening to walk off set.
Wait, we didn’t mention that yet?
It’s true — LaBeouf’s method drunkenness freaked out his co-star so much she almost quit:
“She was calling her attorney, like, ‘Get me the [bleep] out of here.’ Mia was ready to walk away from the movie. I was really pretty aggressive about it, and not in any kind of weird, strange way, but I don’t think she had ever experienced anything like that.”
Aggressive about what, exactly?
Having a hangover?
Why would that scare her?? We feel like there’s more to the story!
