But it’s only getting better!
Dexter executive producer/showrunner Clyde Phillips is leaving the show to spend more time with his family.
After spending 9 months out of the year in LA working on Dexter for the past 4 years, Phillips is eager to be at home with his family on the east coast.
“I lived with the people on the show for four years that were the high point of my career. But I was missing out on my family. I need to be part of my own life, immerse into my own life…But when the time comes, something good will come along, or I will make it come along. I’m already champing at the bit, I’m already writing something.”
Dexter has been Showtime’s highest-rated show for the past 4 years.
24 co-executive producer Chip Johannessen will be taking over for Phillips.
We wonder if a change in the showrunner will affect their reign?
