For the second week in a row, the fourth installment of Shrek won the top spot at the box-office, taking in an estimated $55.6 million over the long holiday weekend.
Experts had estimated that it would be Sex & The City 2 who would bring in the big bucks, but in fact, the ladies and their Abu Dhabi adventure came in THIRD!
Jumping past the girls in sales was Jake Gyllenhaal’s Prince of Persia, which made $.7 million more than Sex.
