That’s a bit surprising.
Sienna Miller has settled her lawsuit against News Corp., owners of the British tabloid News of the World, in which she claimed that the company hacked into her cell phone to receive private information.
The tabloid allegedly hired a private investigator to listen to their calls.
Ewww! Totally shady!
Sienna will receive approximately $160,000 to drop the case.
News Corp. said in a statement:
“We are pleased that we have managed to bring this case to a satisfactory conclusion. Several weeks ago we admitted liability in certain cases and offered a genuine and unreserved apology. We hope to resolve other cases swiftly.”
Guess money talk$. Not sure we would have done the same thing, Sienna.
